Madison “Maddie” Kristyon Brooks passed away on Nov. 22, 2017. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Dec 2 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Hubbard.
She was born on Oct. 1, 2015 to Mariah Mathis and Stephon Williams in Houston at Memorial Herman Hospital.
She was vibrant, energetic and outgoing who loved to sing and dance and play.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Barbara Ann Johnson.
She leaves her parents, Mariah Mathis and Stephon Williams; one sister, McKenzie Brooks; two grandmothers, LaToya Johnson and Stephanie Dorsey; two grandfathers, Kenya Mathis and Christopher Williams; great great grandmother, Minnie Thompson; great grandfather, Dan Johnson; six aunts, Mercedes Mathis, Shamari Johnson, O’Nia Mathis, Jaida Mathis, Takiya Mathis and Semeryon Cartlidge; six uncles, KeAndre Mathis, Kenyon Mathis, Kenya Mathis, Jr., Kenya Mathis III, Kevin Armstrong, Isiah Davis. A host of great aunts, uncles and cousins.
